As you know that health is wealth! Without proper health, you cannot do anything. Life becomes boring if you lose your health. That’s why Sleeping always keeps you fit and healthy. This way, you can live a long life and remain fresh.

Many factors keep you healthy and fit, such as exercise, drinking healthy water and eating healthy food. No doubt, sleeping is not mentioned at the top of the list, but it should be. According to the health care centre, quality sleep may consider better for both physical and mental health. It will affect your body if you do not have much sleep, even at night time. It is a fact that you can keep your mind alert and clear-headed only if you have enough Sleeping daily. Many developments will increase in our brains, such as learning, decision making and problem-solving. On the other hand, when you have less sleep, your brain’s performance will suffer. Our brain will become foggy and not react quickly to too many things. Our judgment also disturbs by chronic sleep loss that often causes serious accidents. It seems that fatal car crash cases may increase due to the driver’s tiredness.

Keeps Emotions In Control

People can easily control their emotions and behaviour if they have enough good sleep. For example, you will face mood swings if you have less sleep. Moreover, children will show many tantrums while talking with parents and friends if they lose good quality sleep. Overall, sleep deficiency may cause depression, risky behaviour and even suicide.

Reduces Disease Risk

Many diseases also come to the human body if they do not have much sleep. It shows that most people face an increased rate of heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney disease, diabetes and stroke. Moreover, loss of sleep can also affect your body’s immune system. If you have less Sleeping, it’s hard for you to fight viral diseases such as colds or the flu.

Keep Body Weight Under Control

Taking sleep at a good time will keep your weight under control. If you have less sleep at night, you will feel hungry and eat much at night. So, you need to only eat at the proper time and sleep at night. This way, your body weight will not increase.

How Much Quality Sleep Is Enough For All?

How much sleep is required? It depends upon the age of the individual. Many recommendations show the following ranges:

  • The amount of sleep required for newborns about 0 to 3 months is 14-17 hours.
  • Infants of 4-11 months need sleep of 12-15 hours.
  • Toddlers of 1-2 years of age need sleep 11-14 hours
  • Preschoolers aged 3-5 years need Sleeping 10-13 hours
  • School-age children aged 6-13 need sleep of 9-11 hours
  • Teenagers aged 14-17 need sleep 8-10 hours
  • Younger adults aged 18-25 need sleep of 7-9 hours
  • Adults aged 26-64 need sleep 7-9 hours

Older adults aged 65 need sleep of 7-8 hours.
